Craig has always had a vision for improving the healthcare experience through technical innovation and improvement. More than a decade ago with the insight that connecting systems would improve healthcare workflow, and ultimately patient care, Craig founded EHR Integration Services in 2006. Prior to starting EHR Integration Services, Craig began his career with IDX Systems Corporation as a programmer, he joined Allscripts which acquired IDX, ultimately serving as Director of Interface Operations. Craig holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Alfred University.
Steve Buttita
Steve is known for saying “Yes, we can do that” when others have said it couldn’t be done. That intuitive knowledge of technology is what has driven the growth and success of Byte Sized Solutions, which Steve founded in 2006. Steve is a veteran of the demanding clinical and financial technology world, solving complex problems for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States. As a software developer, Steve demonstrates a unique blend of creativity, business savvy and knowledge of healthcare systems to deliver seemingly impossible solutions time after time.
Our Story
In 2006, Keena’s founding partners Steve Buttitta and Craig Luce launched two separate start-up companies, Byte Sized Solutions and EHR Integration Services. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic they each went about delivering innovative data management solutions and excellence in IT project management and implementation services on parallel paths.

In 2010, their paths crossed on a common client project where they discovered that their two organizations worked very well together and shared a core value system for life, work, and healthcare IT. Since that first joint project the two companies have collaborated on more than 600 projects with 150 customers covering 120K+ hours of working together.
That long, successful alliance culminated in the two companies merging their clinical and operations divisions into one – Keena Healthcare Technology – founded in August 2020. After a year of successfully integrating the business, in July of 2021, Keena acquired the financial services division of Byte Sized Solutions to round out what is now a full complement of data management and optimization solutions across the healthcare delivery continuum.
Having come from the pedigree of EHR Integration Services and Byte Sized Solutions, the qualifications and success of Keena are unassailable. Keena is the business partner that is a step ahead of their client’s needs. The ability to anticipate customer needs paired with passion for customer satisfaction yields some of the best IT solutions built in healthcare today.
