Part-time Remote
Accountant
Keena Healthcare Technology is seeking a part-time remote Accountant to support leadership and the Director of Finance in managing both Accounts Payable and accounting records for the company. The position will utilize NetSuite for tracking and recording accounting information.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Entering and paying vendor bills
- Checking company PO Box for mail and distribution to appropriate parties
- Managing bank reconciliation
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Managing the general ledger accounting for budgeting and reporting
- Collaborate with HR/payroll to reconcile and enter payroll expenses into NetSuite
- Providing short-term cash forecasting
- Performing company credit card review and reconciliation
- Managing multi-state accounting compliance and registration and acting as main point of contact for CT Corp, including managing Tax Withholding Notices
- Creating financial statements for independent 3rd party to review, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flows plus footnotes, according to GAAP accounting practices
- Other duties, as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
The winning candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- 7+ years previous experience within accounting or financial management
- Previous experience with corporate GAAP accounting practices
- Familiarity with multi-state accounting
- BA, BS in business, accounting, or related field
- MS Excel Mastery
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with NetSuite
- Residency within Chapel Hill, NC area
