The latest release of Keena InteleFiler comes equipped with a refreshed user interface and transformational design that enhances usability and streamlines workflow. It uses OCR and AI technology to automatically extract key data elements like Patient Name, Date of Birth, Provider, and Date of Service, enabling accurate indexing with minimal manual effort.
Documents that cannot be fully processed by OCR are routed to the Work Queue, where users can quickly complete any missing information to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Once a patient is identified, OCR extracts additional demographic data from less obvious areas, such as clinical notes. Pages within the batch are grouped by patient, and when possible, by document type, then split into separate batches. Pages that don’t meet auto-splitting criteria are merged. All batches are then sent to InteleFiler for indexing.
